§ Mr. Michael Marshallasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) if he will announce the members of the Data Protection Committee;
(2) when he expects to implement the recommendations of the White Paper on data protection published last December.
§ Mr. Roy JenkinsFurther progress in this field will depend upon the recommendations of the Data Protection Committee. As already announced, Sir Kenneth Younger has agreed to chair the committee, and I hope to announce the names of the other members very shortly.
