§ Mr. David Steelasked the Secretary of State for Energy whether he will establish two energy authorities for Scotland and for England and Wales, to coordinate the most efficient production and use of all energy resources.
§ Mr. BennNo. My Department, which has responsibilities covering the whole United Kingdom, already performs this function and takes full account of Scottish and Welsh interests, in conjunction with the Secretaries of State concerned.
