§ Mr. Guy Barnettasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether the Property Services Agency is proposing to obtain the tenancy of any premises in the constituency of the hon. Member for Greenwich; what rent per square foot is being asked; and for what purposes any such as may be acquired will be used.
§ Mr. ArmstrongThe Property Services Agency is proposing to take a lease of part of Meridian House, Greenwich, the former town hall, to accommodate officers of the Inland Revenue, Department of Employment and Customs and Excise. The Agency is not currently proposing to acquire any other premises in Greenwich. It is not the policy of my right hon. Friend's Department to disclose details of the terms discussed between the owners and the Agency.
