§ Mr. MulleyGuidance on the implications of the Rate Support Grant settlement for 1976–77 was issued in a joint circular from seven Government Departments (DES Circular 15/75) on 31st December 1975. Copies are in the Library. The settlement provides in aggregate for an increase of 2 per cent. in real terms on expenditure on education in 1976–77 over the estimated level in 1975–76.
