§ Mr. Hoosonasked the Secretary of State for Wales whether the new Development Board for Rural Wales will have power to finance the provision of transmitters for the BBC and IBA services to those parts of rural Wales which will still not be receiving adequate television services at the time when the Board comes into operation.
§ Mr. John MorrisThe powers to be exercised by the Board will depend on the terms of legislation to be introduced shortly. The provision of television transmitters is a matter for the BBC and the IBA.
