§ Mr. JohnDeployments of Royal Air Force operational aircraft to airfields in the Southern Region of Europe are normally made either in order to practise their operational rôles in emergency or for the purpose of weapon practice. The total number of deployments in 1975 was virtually the same as in 1974, but there were naturally variations in the types of aircraft deployed and the airfields used.
