§ Mr. Steenasked the Secretary of State for the Environment, following his visit to Mersey Docks on 8th March, if he will announce the provision of further Government aid to develop the South Dock complex.
§ Mr. MarksI have no such announcement to make. The future of the South Docks, which are contributing helpfully to the income of the dock company, was not discussed when I visited the company on 8th March. Further consideration has yet to be given to redevelopment policies.
