§ Mr. Clinton DavisThe functions conferred by Section 1 (1) of the Civil Aviation Act 1949 on a Minister of Civil Aviation have since been transferred to other Ministers or authorities. The task of identifying and collating the expenditure incurred by the Departments and authorities concerned over the past 26 years could be undertaken only at disproportionate cost.
