§ Mr. CarmichaelThe Government welcomed the OECD decision to draw up a package of measures relating to international investment, including voluntary guidelines for the conduct of multinational enterprises, and are participating actively in this work. Negotiations are still in progress, and I hope that proposals will be put before the annual meeting of OECD Ministers in the summer.
