§ Mr. Richard Wainwrightasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether members of the following bodies receive salaries in respect of their service, how much in each case; and whether it is in respect of full or part-time service: the Yorkshire and Humberside Economic Planning Council, the Yorkshire and Humberside Regional Sports Council, the Yorkshire Regional Water Authority, and the North Yorkshire Moors National Park Committee.
§ Mr. CroslandThe Chairman of the Yorkshire Regional Water Authority receives an annual salary of £6,175, plus £115 threshold supplement; the Chairman of the Yorkshire and Humberside Economic Planning Council receives £1,000 annually. Both are part-time appointments. The other members of these bodies and all the members of the Yorkshire and Humberside Regional Sports Council and the North Yorkshire Moors National Park Committee receive no salary for their services.
