HC Deb 25 March 1976 vol 908 cc277-8W
Rev. Ian Paisley

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland whether the rockets used by the Provisional IRA to attack Aldergrove Airport were manufactured in the Irish Republic; what evidence there is of the IRA having other types of rockets; and, if so, what is their origin.

pursuant to his reply [Official Report, 22nd March 1976; Vol. 908, c. 47], gave the following information:

The mortar bombs fired into Alder-grove Airport on 6th March 1976 were home-made; exactly where is not known. Rockets were not used. With reference to the latter part of the Question, I refer the hon. Member to the answer I gave to the hon. Member for Macclesfield (Mr. Winterton) on 15th March, 1976.—[Vol. 907, c. 365.]
