§ 30. Mr. Dykesasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if she is satisfied that all severely disabled persons in the Greater London area in need of extra assistance or equipment are now registered with their local authorities.
§ Mr. Alfred MorrisNo. But approximately 50,000 names were added to the registers by the London boroughs during the two years ended 31st March 1975, the most recent date for which figures are available. In the same period, some 29,000 names were removed from the registers due to death and other causes. This suggests that these authorities have generally been making progress in registering severely disabled people.
