§ Mr. Morganasked the Secretary of State for Defence what would be the 642W sary in the light of whatever constitutional and functional arrangements are established under the legislation of devolution, and it would be premature to settle arrangements at this stage. United Kingdom Government Departments will continue to be responsible to their Ministers and through them to Parliament, although there will need to be a great deal of contact between these Government Departments and the Scottish administration.
