§ Mr. Paul Deanasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer when he intends to have talks with representatives of the self-employed about the Budget proposals sent to him by the National Federation of Self Employed on 2nd March 1976.
§ Mr. Robert SheldonThe Budget representations submitted by the National Federation are being given full consideration, but I do not intend to hold talks to discuss them. My officials did, however, meet representatives of the Federation as recently as 9th March to discuss some points on VAT.
