§ Dr. OwenIn preparation for the commissioning of the Royal Liverpool Hospital, the Liverpool Area Health Authority (Teaching) is consulting medical staff representatives and other interested parties about the functional content and staff complements of all the hospitals in the area after the new hospital opens. The authority is consequently not yet able to predict with accuracy how many medical staff will be in post at that time.
