§ Dr. OwenFacilities at many older hospitals are not as good as I would wish, but I am satisfied that those at the Manchester Royal Infirmary are still adequate for the provision of services of a high standard. The North-Western Regional Health Authority, in conjunction with Manchester Area Health Authority (Teaching), intends to redevelop this hospital in phases based on priority needs and in accordance with the availability of resources.
