In addition producers received premiums provisionally totalling £2.69 per live cwt. for that week, giving average total returns of £25.75 per live cwt.
No comparable figure is available for France, but the French reference price for all cattle, including cows, in the week ended 28th February, was £30.05 per live cwt.
