Mr. Hannam

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many ENT consultants and physiological measurement technicians (audiology), respectively, are currently employed by each regional health authority in England.

Some consultants and technicians have contracts with more than one authority and the regional figures, therefore, normally contain some duplication of numbers. To avoid this the table below gives information in terms of whole time equivalents at 30th September 1974, the latest date for which information is available.
