§ 31. Mr. Christopher Priceasked the Secretary of State for Defence whether he will make a statement about the future of the sovereign base area in Cyprus.
§ Mr. JohnBritish forces will continue to be stationed in both sovereign base areas in Cyprus. The reductions in force levels foreshadowed in the Statement on the Defence Estimates 1975 (Cmnd. 5976) are well on the way to being completed.
