§ Mr. Eldon Griffithsasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will now announce his decision on the dispute between the Levy Board and the bookmakers on the Board's proposals for an increase in the fifteenth levy for the purpose of increasing its contribution to prize money in the racing industry.
§ Mr. Roy JenkinsI hope shortly to announce my determination, under Section 1 of the Horserace Betting Levy Act 1969, of the scheme for contributions from bookmakers during the levy period beginning 1st April next.
