§ Mr. David Priceasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what is the total number of different forms which his Department, and its subordinate agencies, have 61W currently available for different purposes requiring completion by members of the general public; when the necessity for each such form was last reviewed; and whether he intends to reduce the number of such forms and to simplify their contents.
§ Mr. William RossForms are used by my Department as an aid to administration for a multiplicity of purposes. My Departments are under instructions to keep the continuing need for and content of forms under review, but I regret that I could not give the hon. Member the information he seeks without incurring disproportionate cost.
