§ 38. Mr. Gowasked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster on what date and for how long his special adviser was appointed; and whether he will appoint a further special adviser to his Department.
§ Mr. LeverI appointed my special adviser on 12th March 1974 under the usual conditions for special advisers. Until 30th September 1975 he had leave of absence from the London School of Economics, and held the appointment full-time. With his resumption of some teaching duties on 1st October 1975 he has continued as my special adviser on a part-time basis. I have no plans to make any further appointments.
