§ Mr. FreesonThe Government hope to be able to introduce early next Session legislation to place a statutory responsibility for accommodation for the homeless on housing authorities, and to clarify the related responsibilities of social services authorities. Introduction at that time depends, however, on decisions which have yet to be made about the776W content of the legislative programme for the Session.
