§ Mr. Hugh JenkinsSo far as the continuing programme of "housing the arts" is concerned, information for 1975–76 is not yet complete; but the Arts Council has so far made capital grants of over £64,000 for London theatres and over £435,000 for theatres outside London. The South Bank Theatre Board, in addition, expects to spend nearly £3 million this year on the completion of the new National Theatre building on the South Bank.
