HC Deb 02 March 1976 vol 906 cc492-3W
Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Attorney General if he will take action as part of the cuts in expenditure to reduce and control the legal costs and costs generally of the judiciary system.

The Attorney-General

As outlined in the White Paper on Public Expenditure to 1979–80 (Cmnd. 6393), my noble Friend will be taking action where possible to reduce the costs of the administration of justice primarily by administrative savings and measures to increase efficiency.
