§ Mr. Copeasked the Minister for the Civil Service how many copies of the inaccurate Central Office of Information reference pamphlet 133 on the insurance industry were printed; how many copies were distributed; how much has been the cost to public funds; and what disciplinary action has been taken.
§ Mr. Charles R. Morris11,000 copies were printed at a cost of £1,248. Some 7,700 copies were sent for distribution to British information posts overseas and about 1,450 copies have been distributed to HMSO bookshops throughout the country. Information of the actual number of copies distributed to members of the public both in the United Kingdom and overseas could not be obtained without disproportionate cost. The question of disciplinary action does not arise as the author has since left the public service.
