§ Mr. StrangThe cost of inspection has been estimated provisionally at 0.4p a pound but there will, of course, be individual variations according to the 469W throughput and efficiency of particular plants. Those premises that require structural alteration to comply with the hygiene requirements will also give rise to expenditure. Consideration is being given to the possibility of offering assistance towards these latter costs.
