§ The Attorney-GeneralYes. 8,095 cases were dealt with by arbitration in the county courts in England and Wales in 1975. This is an increase of 64 per cent. on the number of cases dealt with in this way in 1974. These figures take no account of the very large number of cases disposed of at an earlier stage in the proceedings.
