§ Mr. Denis HowellRegular monitoring of water quality in the River Wyre is 433W carried out monthly by the North West Water Authority and its records show a slight trend towards improvement in quality. The whole of the river upstream of the tidal limit is generally within class 1 of the River Pollution Survey—i.e., unpolluted or recovered from pollution.
