HC Deb 25 June 1976 vol 913 cc468-9W
Mr. Craigen

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what consultations he has had with local authorities about the future responsibility for List D schools in Scotland; and if he will consider the desirability of introducing legislation whereby these establishments are financed entirely by the Scottish Office.

Mr. McElhone

I am considering this matter with a view to the formulation of proposals to be discussed with all the interests concerned, including the local authorities.
