§ Mr. Hugh Jenkinsasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what is his latest estimate of the increase in costs of import of foodstuffs consequent upon British entry into the EEC.
§ Mr. BishopThe further we move from the date of accession to the EEC the more difficult it is to assess what prices we might have paid for imported food supplies had we not joined, and it is no longer possible to isolate the extent to which membership of the EEC has affected the cost of our food imports.
