§ Dr. J. Dickson MabonThe Petroleum and Submarine Pipe-lines Act 1975 enables my right hon. Friend to exercise control over the depletion of fields on the United Kingdom Continental Shelf. He will consider the use of these powers as and when that seems desirable.
