§ Mr. Trotterasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he has yet completed his discussions with airline representatives on the likely loss of income and increased administrative costs resulting from the implementation of his proposal to tax concessionary airline tickets as benefits in kind, as mentioned in his Answer to the hon. Member for Tynemouth on 7th June, Official Report, column 552; what was the outcome of the discussions; and 550W whether he now intends to modify his proposals in the light of them.
