§ Mr. Ashleyasked the Prime Minister whether the terms of reference of the Royal Commission on the National Health Service will allow an examination of co-operation in both planning and financing with other bodies, in particular local authority social services departments.
§ The Prime MinisterYes. It is open to the Commission to examine any issue which they consider relevant to the best use and management of the finance and manpower resources of the National Health Service.
