246W(2) which educational organisations and associations have supported full implementation of the Alexander Report on Adult Education.
§ Mr. McElhoneAll education authorities except Strathclyde, Orkney and the Western Isles have submitted comments. All the authorities that have replied favour implementation of the main recommendations, and some authorities have already established community education services on the lines recommended in the report. Some 50 other bodies concerned with adult education have also commented, and in general they support the main recommendations.
