§ 22. Mr. David Priceasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what special measures he is taking to ensure that French, Belgian, Dutch and German yachting organisations are aware of the United Kingdom regulations controlling the importation of any animal into the United Kingdom and that these regulations include the unauthorised landing of any such animal, for even a short space of time, and that, following the advice of the World Health Organisation, the United Kingdom has stricter anti-rabies controls than in countries where rabies is enzootic.

§ Mr. HattersleyPosters in the language of the country concerned, warning prospective travellers to the United Kingdom of our strict anti-rabies regulations, have been or are being circulated to the principal yachting organisations in the four countries in question. In addition Her Majesty's embassies and consulates are making every effort to publicise United Kingdom rabies legislation in these countries.
