§ Mr. John MorrisBetween 1972 and 31st May 1976, 389 offers of assistance have been made under Section 7 of the Industry Act 1972 in respect of projects in Wales. The amount of assistance offered totals £42.5 million. Additional employment of about 32,000 jobs is expected to arise in Wales as a result of the assistance offered. In addition, some 3,300 jobs have been safeguarded.
