§ Q33. Mr. Aitkenasked the Prime Minister if he is satisfied with the co-ordination between the Secretary of State for the Home Department and the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs on matters relating to immigration policy.
§ The Prime MinisterImmigration policy is the responsibility of my right hon. Friend the Home Secretary but there is and always has been close co-ordination between the Home Office and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in the administration of the immigration control.
