HC Deb 14 June 1976 vol 913 c54W
Mr. Wigley

asked the Secretary of State for Wales what objective criteria are used by his Department in assessing what proportion of each district council's application for Section 105 housing finance is approved; and whether site inspections form part of such scrutiny.

Mr. John Morris

Bids from local authorities are considered in the light of priorities agreed with the Council for the Principality. The available funds are shared out as evenly as possible in accordance with these priorities. The Welsh Office is in close touch with housing authorities; and detailed site inspections are unnecessary.
