Remission in cases of hardship of any of the taxes administered by the Inland Revenue is a matter for the Board of Inland Revenue as a part of its general responsibility for the care and management for the taxes in its charge. I believe that the arrangements for considering and deciding cases where remission is sought on hardship grounds work satisfactorily.
