§ Mr. StrangThe White Paper "Food from Our Own Resources" set out a strategy for agriculture into the 1980s and included an assessment of where expansion could bring most benefit. The decisions which my right hon. Friend announced on 8th March, together with the improvements in agricultural support introduced last year, were designed to make resources available in accordance with this strategy.
