§ Mr. Russell Johnstonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he will review the financial aspects of the 1973 Legal Advice and Assistance Scheme 699W which result in those living on social security and in receipt of family incomes supplement or supplementary benefit having to pay a contribution of between £1.50 and £21.
§ Mr. Harry EwingUnder the Legal Advice and Assistance Scheme 1973 anyone who satisfies the capital requirements and who is in receipt of family income supplement or supplementary benefit is entitled to receive advice from a solicitor without payment of any contribution.
