Member, but in the week ending 21st May 1976 2,943 payments, consisting of either unemployment benefit or supplemetary allowance, or a combination of both, were made to unemployed persons by the Bournemouth Unemployment Benefit Office. The total cost was £54,576, giving an average payment of about £18.50 per person.
