§ Mr. Bradfordasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland (1) how many incursions by terrorists from the Republic of Ireland there were during the seven years from 1969 to 1975, listing each year separately;
(2) how many border incidents involving terrorists have occurred during the years 1969 to 1975, inclusive, listing the number for each year separately.
§ Mr. Merlyn Rees, pursuant to his reply [Official Report, 17th May 1976 Vol. 911, c. 378], gave the following answer:
630WIt is not possible to say how many incursions there were in respect of terrorists from the Republic of Ireland.
The number of incidents of terrorist-type activity occurring on or in the vicinity of the border in Northern Ireland since 1971 is as follows:
