§ Mr. Frank Allaunasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will change the controls on the export of strategic goods to South Africa, so as to prevent the supply of arms to that country from the United Kingdom.
§ Mr. RowlandsThe administration of the export licensing system is a matter for my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Trade. Changes in the controls are made as necessary and in the light of our well-established policy on embargoing the supply of arms to South Africa from the United Kingdom.
