§ Mr. David Watkinsasked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection when she expects to change over from the "minimum" to the "average" contents system of packaging.
§ Mr. MaclennanThe Working Party on Metrological Control Systems which was set up in April 1975 to consider the method of implementation of the average system will be reporting its recommendations later this year. The necessary legislation will be introduced as soon as possible thereafter.
