§ Mr. John Garrettasked the Secretary of State for Trade if reductions in footwear imports from Comecon countries have taken place in accordance with the agreement between Her Majesty's Government and the Governments of those countries.
§ Mr. MeacherCzechoslovakia, Poland and Romania have agreed to restrain their exports of leather footwear, excluding sandals, in 1976 to the levels of their exports in 1975. The information available about imports so far gives me no reason to believe that these undertakings will not be honoured.
