§ Mr. DeakinsThe number of places made available for student radiographers in 1976 in the West Midlands is 112. Comparable figures for the United Kingdom are not readily available, but the number of training places approved by the Society of Radiographers is 1,478. Future requirements are not easy to assess and will be kept under review, but existing training capacity appears to be adequate.
