§ 63. Mr. William Hamiltonasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what new proposals he intends to initiate in the current financial year to alleviate the poverty which still exists on a wide scale.
§ Mr. OrmeWe have at present no major proposals. We have made improvements in the existing structure of social security benefits, which will continue to make extensive provision against poverty.
