§ Mr. Dodsworthasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether his Department makes any special concessions concerning motorway noise reduction measures for those, like the blind and the disabled, whose aversion to traffic noise is greater than normal.
§ Mr. MarksIt is impossible to classify those particularly susceptible to noise. Special provision cannot therefore be made generally. The Department is always prepared, within its powers, to take account of medical considerations.
